CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY
What is Chiropractic Therapy?
Chiropractic therapy is known as the “adjustment” therapy!
The more formal definition is: Chiropractic therapy focuses on the spinal alignment which can restore proper function of the spine.
By careful evidenced based treatments, we can restore spinal function, allowing joints and muscles to work at full function.
And yes, we do this by “adjustments”. And sometimes, you can hear a “crack”.
What it treats
Poor spinal health can show up in many different ways.
Poor posture is one of the tell tale signs. If your head is tilted forward and shoulders are hunched, this is a common presentation of poor spinal health.
Pain, stiffness and discomfort are common areas our patients see improvements in.
Who is it for?
Chiropractic is most recommended for patients with issues relating to the spine including the back joints and muscles.
There are many adjustment techniques for all age groups, to allow safe and effective treatments based on research.
Benefits
Many of our patients feel better without pain, leading them to feel stronger, and stable in the spine. We have also seen benefits on breathing, confidence and more energy throughout the day.
Deeper Breathing
Poor posture has shown to reduce oxygen intake by 30%
People with poor posture reduces their breathing capacity often leading to short or a shallow breath.
FlexIbility & Strength
When your spine is in correct posture, your muscles and joints are working from the right position.
We see changes in overall strength and flexibility throughout the spine.
